A CO in Montreal River
prepares to blast away from rocks using dynamite. First, he
places the dynamite and rolls out to the cord. He then attaches
the cords to the detonator. After walking a safe distance away,
he pushes the plunger and watches the dynamite explode. This
was all part of building the Trans-Canada Highway.
